I did it.
I opened my SHOP, independent of Etsy.
This is the first step towards a big change, but I'm excited to see the growth! I'm totally unsure how the checkout and shipping process will work, but please go visit the SHOP option above and let me know what you think!
When I'm not crafting, you can find me working on some sort of household project. Last January, my husband and I purchased a 1971 single family home that needed some major cosmetic updating. The previous owner was a woman in her 90's, who had purchased the home brand new with her husband and adult daughter. The interior of the home was spotless and in incredible condition. Appliances had all been replaced over the years and it was obvious, she took great care of her home.
With that said .. as a new, young family entering the home, the interior aesthetics weren't quite our style. The entire house is carpeted in green carpet. Underneath that, is an even older, darker, green carpet. Almost every single wall is green, with the exception of the "family room" in white stucco and wallpapered bathrooms. Green. Green. Green. As far as the eyes can see.
Slowly, we have been making this house our "home" and updating what we can, when we can. Throwing in some full time careers and three kids, our home will be a forever project of updating, and I'm OK with that. I'll never be bored.
Well isn't this exciting! I've decided to reconnect to my prior blogging days and use this outlet to connect with friends near and far. NicolioWithLove started in 2015 with a middle-of-the-night concept and has continued to grow into a business I am incredibly proud of. I want to share my journey and excitement with you.
What can you expect to see? Lots of papercrafting! Lots of product recommendations! Lots of home decor DIY! Lots of small business love! I want to invite you into my creative world and bring a smile to your face. I want your suggestions, too. What type of material would you like to see? What projects would you like me to tackle?
I am very much looking forward to sharing more of my story with you, and hope you are looking forward to hearing it as well.
